Pepper Spray Effects & How They Work

Pepper spray is an inflammatory agent. It will induce coughing, choking and nausea, as well as dilating the eye capillaries resulting in temporary blindness. The mucous membranes will swell to prevent all but life support breathing causing the assailant to be temporarily incapacitated.
Pepper Shot 10% pepper spray is rated at 2 million Scoville Heat Units and is made with fine grains that are more effective than the coarser grains of most other pepper sprays. These affects can last up to 45 minutes and cause no permanent damage. All models have a locking actuator for safety.
Our Wildfire pepper spray is 18% oleo resin capsicum (pepper)—a derivative of 3 million Scoville Heat Units. The 18% formula is one of the hottest, and more importantly, the fastest reacting spray we've ever tested. This spray immediately permeates the pores of the skin, closes the eyes, and inhibits the respiratory system. The purity of this formula is due to using only food grade 3 million or 4 million Scoville Heat Units pepper.
Pepper Mace Baton provides low profile, yet devastatingly effective aerosol protection against attackers. The pepper mace fogger has 2 million Scoville Units of heat and can spray up to 5 feet. These units include key ring for easy use. Refills are also available.
Lipstick Pepper Spray is 10% pepper spray designed for women. It is an attractive lipstick case sure to deceive and ward off potential attackers. This unit is ½ oz canister with 20 half-second sprays with a range of 10 feet.
The Mace Pepper Gun uses Advance Delivery System utilizing Bag-in Can ™ Technology. This new system allows the pepper spray to spray like an aerosol. The gun can be held in any direction, even upside down. Trigger activated LED light allows for better aim. Refills and leather or nylon holster are also available.
Mace Pepper Foam with UV Dye is a revolutionary 10% pepper and foam to produce a powerful deterrent against attackers. The thick foam covers an assailant's face, making it difficult to see. When the attacker attempts to wipe away the foam, the pepper is ground into the face and eyes. The UV marking Dye will put a marker on your attacker.
Mace Pepper Gel is a (Patent Pending) formulation of pepper spray which is suspended in gel instead of a liquid stream. This pepper gel formulation results in several advantages: Long distance up to 18 feet, stronger pepper, non-flammable, sticks like glue, less contaminating. The mace gel also has UV marking technology.
